The Cedarcrest Women’s Golf Club is a growing, welcoming, fun group of women who love to golf, and we have all levels of golfers. Our official competitive season is April 1 through October 31 with fun competitions, most based on your handicap. We have at least one monthly gross score competition and a monthly fun team competition, for example best ball or scramble.
No handicap, no problem! We will help you establish one! We play Tuesday, Friday and Saturday starting at 9 AM during our “season” and some brave souls play throughout the off-season, weather permitting, starting at 10:00 AM.
You must be a member in good standing and pay a “competition fee” to be eligible to win, which is only $2.00 for weekly comps and a little more for tournaments. Winnings go on the books at the pro shop where you can purchase goods or lessons (sorry, not greens fees).
We also have a Club Championship (2 consecutive rounds, total gross score), Captain’s Cup (2 consecutive rounds, total net score) and an ‘end of the year’ fun tournament.
We are members of the Washington State Women’s Public Links Association (WSWPLA) and the Snohomish County Women’s Golf Association (SCWGA), both which have monthly tournaments from April through October, including a championship tournament for each. The state championship is over 3 consecutive days, the county is 2 days and may or may not be consecutive, but will be in the same week. Within county we also have a team event where 4 of our players compete in a Match Play best ball format with other teams from several other Snohomish county clubs.
All of the above give you an opportunity to play with women at your level, learn the rules and to play courses throughout the county and state.
For more information contact the Women’s Club Captain via email@example.com or call the pro shop a couple of days in advance at 360-363-8460 and ask to be listed with the women’s club. If you would like to try us out before joining, you are welcome to come and play a couple of rounds with before you join.
